Counseling Services

Mutual Ground Counseling Services provide support to adults, teens, and children impacted by domestic and sexual violence. Counseling aims to help victims and their friends and family heal from the effects of trauma, explore a variety of coping skills, and reclaim their personal power.

  • "I met with a counselor at Mutual Ground for 2 years who helped me through the darkest time in my life. My counselor was the first person I called when I learned that my rapist was convicted."

    Client, 19

  • "I was referred to Mutual Ground by the Police Department and it's the best thing that has happened to me. During the support group, I get to hear other people speak about what they have been through. I thought I was the only one, but I found out a lot of people go through this."

    Client, 41

  • "After years of keeping the pain bottled up, I decided to get help. It made such a difference. For others who are suffering quietly, it's never too late."

    Client, 72
