Direct Service Volunteers

Join our team of Direct Service Volunteers!

At Mutual Ground, Direct Service Volunteers work directly with survivors in our community. These volunteers provide victim advocacy at local hospitals, talk to callers on the hotline, and support families with childcare.

  • ~ Must be 18 and older.

    ~ Must complete our 60-hour Domestic & Sexual Violence Certification. (Training cost is discounted for volunteers, reimbursement is possible after 1 year of service.)

  • ~ Victim Advocacy at Local Hospitals and Law Enforcement Centers

    ~ Answer Emergency Hotline Calls

    ~ Childcare

    1. Complete our Volunteer Application

    2. Interview with Program Staff

    3. Register for and Complete the 60-hour Domestic & Sexual Violence Certification

    4. Complete Paperwork and Pass Background Check
