60-Hour Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Certification
Completion of this training is required for all volunteers, interns, and staff who provide direct service to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Illinois. Mutual Ground is an ICDVP and ICASA approved training site. The certificate earned through this training is recognized statewide.
The Fall 2017 session will begin on Tuesday, September 12th, and end on Saturday, October 7th. Training will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-10 pm, and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the North Aurora Police Department.
The Spring 2018 session will begin on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, and end on Saturday, February 10, 2018. Training will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-10 pm, and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Aurora Police Department.
The Summer 2018 session dates and location – TBA
60 Social Work CEU’s – no additional charge.
60 IAODAPCA CEU’s (Continuing Education Units) are available in the following categories: Counselor I or II, Preventionist I or II, CARS I or II, MISA I or II or III, PCGC II, CCJP I or II,CAAP I or II, CRSS I or II, MAATP I or II, RDDP, NCRS I or II, CFPP II – no additional charge.
